John "Johnnie" DAVISON
COMMENT: First of all, I admit I've assumed the information on the reverse of the photograph above is correct. I have no reason to believe otherwise. Having said that, I was able to find two documents (1871 & 1881 census records) of John Davison at Windsor, Hants County, NS. One stating his occupation as Sea Captain and the other as Toll Keeper. Both documents stated his wife was Mary. Both documents stated his religion as Baptist and his birth was in Nova Scotia with year calculations of 1809 & 1811. He was not found in any following census records for the area. For that reason I believe he may have died between the dates of 1881 and 1891.
